A trip to Chungcheongbuk-do
Chungcheongbuk-do is the only landlocked province in Korea. It has no sea, but beautiful mountains and clear lakes fill the vacancy. Just like its nickname 'Cheongpung Myeongwol' (Clear Wind, Bright Moon), the natural scenery offers deep relaxation.
Thanks to the mountain ranges, there are many scenic spots such as Dodamsambong in Danyang and Uirimji in Jecheon. Also, thousand-year-old temples like Beopjusa in Songnisan are perfect for feeling the breath of history.
